@thor When I used it in the post I responded to you with, I meant “cuck” in the sense of a pushover, who’s willing to be taken advantage of in a relationship, and “soyboy” to refer to an effeminate man. They are not mutually exclusive.
@realcaseyrollins i find that when feminists talk about the "patriarchy" what they really mean is the problem of bullies, psychopaths, etc. thing is, those guys don't just harass women. they kind of harass everyone.
@thor There aren’t really any bullies to be found in my case. But I could certainly serve to toughen up, yes.
When it comes to be patriarchy, I could be wrong but I thought that feminists are referring to society at large, the system keeping them from getting whatever it is that they want. Toxic masculinity is the term I see reserved for the bullies, and they see the only way to be safe from these men is to feminize them. I think they don’t understand that toxicity and masculinity are not inseparably intertwined.
@realcaseyrollins i remember a childhood friend that i'd describe as masculine but non-toxic. his bedroom was full of medals from competitions. but i think the difference between him and some the jocks who bullied me is that he was secure.
@ned anyway, i just associate those words with uneducated people in rural areas and grew up in a low-education rural area here in Norway and we had some types...
