@krzyzanowskim I’ve used mine on multiple occasions, but no doubt are there other solutions.
Since 2017, where I went out of my way to buy USB-C to whatever cables for all my stuff, my MBP power brick is the only charger I bring with me. So I just make sure to take the correct one of these for my destination, and that’s it.
@krzyzanowskim it’s ridiculous that the only way to get these are in that pack. I spend a lot of time in Mexico every year and I need 3 American plugs, not 15 international ones.
@krzyzanowskim I found the foldable US one really useful for WWDC. Using a generic Euro/US adapter meant I was at best hogging two US sockets on the power strips, at worst couldn't plug in for lack of room, despite one socket being free.
At least until I realized I could just buy any C7-plug cable with a US plug on the other side, because the duck head attachment is only a C8 socket with an optional grounding pin.
WWDC labs where I only wanted to plug in the laptop
Going to cafes. I don't want a huge universal charger there either
in Magsafe-only times (no USB charging)
When moving to a new country, as I could grab the local plug from the kit
But yeah, I usually had a generic plug adapter with a DE power strip in the hotel room so I could just plug in all other chargers with their DE plugs, + M1 battery lasts a day, I wouldn’t need to charge.
