ICUMI , I took a few more photos of the with the Digi-Camera and downloaded them overnight.
Here's some shots, including the video link
https://mstdn.ca/@Rasta/111147474691566084 there was so much red in the moon (wildfire smoke) that I tried a black and white too

IMO I've had better full-moon shoots, I'll take what I can

Rasta,

Lately, the clear skies show stars, but not clearly, due to the haze of atmospheric wildfire smoke.

At sunrise, a clear sky isn't good, it displays little or no colour, but the twilight and golden hour were still producing colourful rays yesterday..

(just getting around to DLing my camera)

That tree jumped into the photo

no visible clouds just before sunrise, but haze in the atmosphere is producing a windmill swirl of colour beams. Taken out back over the ocean, the usual tree jumped in at the last moment to photobomb the video

Rasta,

@Seafoot my phone is getting better, but these are all taken by my standalone digital camera. No Bluetooth, no upload, just shoot photos, and if you get a break, transfer them to PC so you can shoot some more and share the previous shots. Sometimes it's a few days, when I'm too busy

@Rasta wow amazing!! The moon is bloody red!

Rasta,

@KissAnne we have sun like that in the morning now too, it's the wildfire smoke in the upper atmosphere

  • Rasta,

@MaJ1 good morning. I've been watching the moon for awhile, there's low fog preventing a photo shoot but it might clear before the moon sets

  • Rasta,

@MaJ1 Oh, we're long away from the roof. I've started my second box of vinyl siding, just building a staging to get higher so I can do another box. Left the ladder to the chimney, but might have to use the ladder for siding.

I should buy a shorter ladder. I have one intentionally that reaches the peak of the house at 32 feet but is too long to use when shortened

  • Rasta,

@MaJ1 I have two step ladders and an extension ladder in the city. ones that reach special areas, like eves of the house.

Old country home is much higher. I brought this ladder here on my roof and had a near accident.
The ladder was wobbling, 10 feet each end of the van, and one rope came loose, and it swung into the next lane, in front of a motorbike driver. Fortunately, no one hit. Scary adventure getting a ladder here, 100 miles on the roof

  • Rasta,

@MaJ1 it bounces, and the bottom wants to kick out when you get up high, so I've parked a car under it, or better yet, put the ladder in the back of a truck for the extra 3 foot (keep the keys in your own pocket)
