Spooky month has started, and I am keeping to my tradition of partaking in some form of horror entertainment (show, movie, podcast, game) every day of the month.
Last night, I watched a somewhat creepy supernatural episode of Inside Number 9, and the first twenty minutes or so of Skinamarink, after which point I couldn't take its style anymore.
Tonight, we watched Cobweb, which was terrible but about halfway through I realized that it was terrible in a truly delightful way and so I liked it.
@Bjarkethebard 2023 so far has not been great for horror films, but there are a few that I've been waiting for this month to see. I liked Knock at the Cabin, but it's not for everyone.
To be really clear, I do not recommend Cobweb. It fails on almost every level a movie can fail. But as a ridiculous campfire tale told by a 13 year old (but in film form), it's wonderful. No idea how they got Lizzy Caplan involved. She must have owed someone a favor.
