I have been working on Puzzmo, in secret, for almost two years now with @orta.
Puzzmo is the place to play daily newspaper puzzle games online.
TODAY we are launching a brand new daily crossword (designed to be approachable like all of my games) alongside with 2 other new games from me (and 3 older ones reimagined)
During prelaunch we only let in 500 people a day, so get at em!
@helvetica Loving this so far! Am asking for the Lifetime Subscription as an early Christmas present : ) Was wondering, I copied one friend link to send to a friend, but can't find my way back to the second link now. Any way to retrieve it? Have another friend in mind. Thanks!
@helvetica@orta Ah, I see. I didn't realize that "japan" was a word outside of the proper noun, so it struck me as odd when that one worked but "Japanese" didn't.
@helvetica@orta I’m mostly curious about accessibility: some of the newspaper online puzzles that should be accessible to screen-reader users just fail miserably.
@jondresner@orta i can’t speak exactly to this because i don’t remember exactly what we were able to accomplish but im pretty sure our xword is fully screen-reader friendly and we are i think working on the others
@helvetica@orta it would be nice to know that it's a US-only thing right from the start. For those of us living in the accursed dark lands outside the shining city on the hill.
