CEOs, unfamiliar with labor issues, lack experience and mentors in organized labor. They must grasp that relying on a Victorian labor playbook harms themselves in the 21st century. Collaboration with labor is crucial. Harvard Business Review thinks so too:

Early professional exposure to organized labor issues influenced my -approach in corporate structures.

In the Gilded Age 2.0, the instinct is to rely on the Victorian Era playbook of the Industrial Revolution.

The abstraction of humans to the factory machines is what gave rise to abuse, harms, and the conditions which formed unions.

Now, in the Age of the similar dynamics are playing out.

History doesn’t repeat, but it does rhyme.
