my parents like going to the beach, but only in November. They're away right now. This means I get to use their sauna without being social with them, which, although I do love hanging out with them since they are delightful people, is a treat.
I am mindful that having parents who
-own property
-had enough money during the pandemmy to buy and build their own teeny sauna
-are not abusive, in fact, are kind and interesting people
makes me incredibly lucky.
