I've said this before and I'll say it again. Americans tend to believe in the legal system and many people take verdicts very ... literally. A criminal conviction by a jury will be very significant for a substantial portion of voters who would otherwise support Trump. No a majority, but enough that he'll be dead in the water.

Now the bad news is that criminal trial juries are absurdly unpredictable in some ways. Well, in this kind of situation.

A hung jury is very possible.
