People be like: "It's so great that SERVICE now also has FUNCTION for which I previously used OTHER SERVICE. Now I only need one subscription"
And then 3 years later be like: "Woah, SERVICE has increased pricing 10-fold, is still serving ads in premium and is killing children for fun, but there's no alternatives. I remember OTHER SERVICE being great, what happened? How could SERVICE become a monopoly?"
