@alphonzs Hello Games working on a new game is a good thing but...It seems like Murray is keeping himself under control as he learned from the overpromising he did with No Man's Sky.
I'll remain cautious with my expectations still as nothing is known about the title yet.
If Monster Hunter combat were fluid without being slow...I'd be more excited for that game. However, I'm happy you've got something to look forward to even if it feels far off in the future!
@WanderingInDigitalWorlds yeah he’s restraining himself it seems, we’ll just have to wait for more info.
I have a couple friends with whom I’ve played MH world and Rise, so it could be nice to get into a new MH. We loved World but Rise not so much.
@alphonzs I wanted to like World as it's a pretty game with an interesting idea...I couldn't play it for very long. Fast monsters make the combat feel worse. I think if I were playing with friends like you are...It would be possible perhaps to progress through the game.
I think games like Nier Automata and The Witcher 3 have spoiled me with their fun combat to the point...Anything far below that expectation just doesn't feel fun.
I applaud Murray for showing us his personal growth.
@WanderingInDigitalWorlds understandable, MH is its own thing combat wise, and doesn’t really have the fast paced action of games like Nier or the Witcher. I’ve been trying Remnant 2 and it’s sort of like MH but combat is faster, I’m only at the start though, but it’s fun so far.
@alphonzs Remnant 2, I've been thinking about that game because once again, I'm interested in what it's trying to do. I might pick it up at some point provided the solo play is solid (I don't really play multi-player much).
Faster and more deliberate combat is really my speed when it comes to action games.
