@anderspuck@EvilCartyen Why not have hundreds of millions of users on many decentralized, open and non-commercial or low profit instances? I don’t see why the fediverse would need big corporations for that.
How is Meta supposed to make profit from Threads, without working against the objectives of an open fediverse? If there is a way, what would stop them from doing so to make even more profit?
