I love the Internet Archive, but they made some really bad decisions. You can’t just give away copyrighted books to everyone with no limits because you’re a “library” and it’s a “national emergency.”
Even if they survive the lawsuit, we need a better way to archive stuff. The Internet Archive is a single point of failure, and besides that it’s a ridiculously slow website anyway.
@jimmyhoke We need the ability to archive as it is quite important for humanity. I'm not aware of an archive that is broad as Archive.org, but here are a few alternatives.
