@partim @nordkommission @ummels @wrzlbrnft Da ich die deutschen Begriffe nicht kenne, werde ich es auf Englisch machen.

This screenshot illustrates why they prefer the cargo tracks in Venlo, because instead of awaiting the voltage to switch on the overhead wires, they can freewheel to the 15 kV section of the tracks and switch the power systems in the train. It goes a lot quicker without the explicit need to stop the train completely, then shut down and restart it.

@smveerman @nordkommission @ummels @wrzlbrnft But couldn’t you just roll into tracks 1 from the west and 2 from the east and would end up under the right system for departure? Or are there no entry paths lest the voltage is switched?
