tomwinzig, 1 year ago @codinghorror Yeah I think there's two issues: Did they actually violate securities law? and more importantly (to me): Does it make sense to try and apply a 1940s era law about the stock market to this entirely new technology? Making it illegal for people to trade digital entities amongst themselves without the government's approval seems insane to me, personally.
