There's nothing wrong with not knowing how Outer Wilds works. That is 100% fine, and you can solve that by playing the two best adventure games ever made: Outer Wilds and Outer Wilds: The DLC.

But voting in polls about how the game works or doing google searches on how the game works so you can vote in polls... that's not great.

If you want to know how good Outer Wilds is, just remember the AAA RPG Outer Worlds was put out at the same time with a very similar name just to ride this indie game's coat tails.

I can't prove that, but I have to say it every time so you don't accidentally play a bland cardboard cut out RPG and think "Craig has awful taste."

Don't watch LPs or anything. Just take a big bite.

Not everyone likes the genre, but it's well worth diving in with the best the genre has to offer.
