Those who are suicidal due to depression feel as if they have no one, and that’s why they aren’t being selfish. They feel like a burden to you, and removing said burden from your life would be a blessing to you. They are frightened and in tremendous pain. They aren’t taking the coward’s way out. They are desperate for peace for themselves and for you, from them. If you better understand their mindset, you can better handle the problem.
