I actually got my degree, almost 15 years ago, in printingmaking. I loved it at the time an thought I would do it forever.

In school I did all kinds of prints: linocut, woodcut, lithography, etching, drypoint, monoprints, …

God it’s been so long I’m sure I missing something. I don’t recall doing screen printing. It’s possible I didn’t take screen printing.

About the time I was going to graduate, I got sick. Had to have surgery. Then after I recovered, I went to school to be a librarian. But never could find a job as a librarian. Also got more sick and couldn’t even volunteer.

Years later I wanted to try to do some linocuts.

By this time, my malady was worse, and I was simply too frail and fatigued to deal with the ink and couldn’t get a clean print. Couldn’t press down hard enough for the ink to give a good print. Felt so fatigued afterwards. I committed to ink drawing then.
