#DataPrivacyWeek Day 4

#Surveillance by #BigTech companies poses a big threat to our privacy.

In light of this, switching to a #privacy-friendly search engine is a quick and easy way to help you keep your online experience private. 🔒

What is your preferred privacy-oriented #SearchEngine? Do you use different ones for regular and private searches?

IGVazquez,

@Vivaldi Qwant first (unless they include ads and I couldn't use it in Vivaldi or with ad blockers); second Brave search (although lately I think Brave is better). Maybe searX too. I have used also DDG and Ecosia. Open to try others as those suggested in https://restoreprivacy.com/private-search-engine/

TetraShot7,

@Vivaldi I decided to switch over to Ecosia. Qwant started blocking adblockers...
