Everything in modern culture provides a strawman of right wing beliefs - and those don't even correspond to mine. There are studies showing how right wingers understand leftwing beliefs, but the same is not true in reverse.
I hope you understand that having a completely incorrect of approximately half of the population is fatal for anything trying to be democratic.
@jeffcliff@haberdasher I don't know if you are aware, but I am a believer in the greek theory of Kyklos, that forms of government follow a flow. If you like democracy, I would suggest that a situation where a massive amount of the population is ignored and actively denigrated is not a good sign for the stability of the franchise.
As the military recruiting problem in the US and UK point to, conservative people are giving up on their governments.
