I asked this new ‘AI UI design tool' startup to make me a pro iPhone camera app UI and it literally calls itself Halide in its Settings UI without any prompting from me. uhhh...
@sdw In my career, I've seen so many times startups take design decisions for the only reason that "it's what everybody does", without accepting to stop and consider any alternative or why it would make sense (and probably feeling heavy imposter syndrome at the simple idea of doing anything differently). I can see how such tool is going to make things even worse, as they are literally generalizing from statistical mean. We're going to reach new levels of conformism (hope it hasn't been trained on websites using Bootstrap! 😂).
