What about offering personal cycle recommendations/tests? @esnyder asks:

This (private) e-bike lending library looks fantastic, as an example of something that could help. Anyone have success getting governmental help with such things?

@esnyder A3. I didn't get to add your other question to this week's but I think the closest I've heard about is informal test-ride meetups organized ad-hoc by community members.

Actually, thinking about this more, I've been to a couple of e-bike demos, either at cycle events or at shops. The ones at shops didn't feel too salesy, and there were a lot of different manufacturer representatives present.
