@amadeus I think it's mostly because of how each website has set up their database. Like really old applications just didn't expect to users that would use e.g. passwords with more than 16 characters. It's still annoying though since I usually generate at least 64 character passwords with #keepassxc 🤔
@graves501 I think this is true for many, but probably not all. For example, some allow only 1 special character, or only one uppercase character, etc., which makes no sense to me. But you are right. Many just allow a certain number of characters. Annoying one way or another. 😅️
