@jon Since it's a major closure, (specifically this one https://www.bahn.de/service/fahrplaene/baustellen/kassel-goettingen) you could proabably look explicitly for connections that connect via hannover by local train. Although, since Weddeler Schleife should be open starting from end of march (https://www.bahn.de/service/fahrplaene/baustellen/wolfsburg-braunschweig), in theory trains should be able to run again on the SFS hildesheim braunschweig wolfsburg route…

@zergar tried that. Doesn’t work. Some Frankfurt-Hannover ICEs will run, and will be diverted onto the old line (travel time 60 min more). But none of those are listed in the timetable yet.

@jon ah right, for some reason they include any Planner delays between Kassel and Göttingen only until 15 March. Then My guess would be the opposite: because Weddeler Schleife reopens, they don't want to put any wrong information into the timetables. Sigh, but at least there's hope for a direct connection.

@jon I love the “zusätzliche Verspätung” wording. It’s a bit like “Yeah, we know the train won’t make it to Frankfurt on time.”
