yesterday i turned in a story on the recent "jellyfish" ufo shared by a major ufo influencer. it can be hard to cover conspiracy theory type stuff because people are very, very, very parasocial with the players in these cottage industries, by design and manipulation in my opinion. with conspiracies that don't just turn out to be, you know, racism or antisemitism or queerphobia (not many overall), i wish the people who follow them would pay attention to who's making money from their attention
