Then we need a tiddler which shows you a list of tiddlers which have a "todo" but not "done" tag, maybe organized by project.

Maybe another one for the "dones"

Then we'd like some affordance that adds/removes "dones."

Wait, I'm describing my bookmarker, more or less

(that's all if we forget about dates for the moment, date fields would add an extra layer of complexity)

(learning how to code TiddlyWiki stuff is... kind of a pain. You know how in Perl there's a lot of weirdness because it's a very old language with 100% backward compatibility, so all the old awkward weird ways of doing things are still supported, used in some parts of existing code, and present in tutorial material you find about it on the net? It's JUST LIKE THAT)

Tiddlywikis are mostly coded in Tiddlywiki itself... which is effectively a functional language which exists as special widgets which look like HTML tags.... with a layer of somewhat more accessible WikiText and/or macros over top of some of that.

oh and "filters" are their own micro-language

    <$button>add task here<$action-sendmessage $message="tm-new-tiddler" tags=task [[$(currentTiddler)$]] text={{MyButtonTemplate}}/>
