People talk a lot about “cozy” games, but I don’t think there’s anything cozier than a point & click “hidden object” adventure game.

With how popular these games are, I’m surprised nobody talk about them.

Here’s an example of what I mean.

So I got to ask, do you play them?

@oblomov Yes, The Room definitely counts. I think it’s one of the best games in the genre.

@dpflug Most of them are cheap. For example, Mountain Crime Acquittal is C$3.29. It’s very good (I should review it), and I’ve sunk around eight hours into it.

@atomicpoet Hidden Object games can be quite nice. Combine an interesting art style with some nice music and I'm in.

I used to like those hidden object books that were fairly common in the 1980s as well. My sister and I would do those a lot when we were kids. =)
