@ActionRetro Haiku tabbing is the only thing that I need :/ Sadly FluxBox doesn't works as good as XFCE :/ Well Hopefully haiku got stable in near future! Thanks for sharing!

@ActionRetro Haiku just flies in general. Fastest OS I've used (tied for Mac OS 9) even on my Dell Inspiron 2200 with a 1.6GHz Pentium M.

Sadly unless your T61 has a #Core2Duo upgraded it won't run #amd64 / #64bit distros, so you won't be able to use @tails / #Tails on it...

Otherwise do it like @fuchsiii and upgrade the #T61 beyond reasonable specs with something like a 2TB SSD and use it as #WindowsXP or #Windows7 #retro machine...

+1 the core2duo is 64bit. Written from a Dell Inspiron 1525 with a core2duo on FreeBSD/KDE Plasma 64bit.

I'm a bit out there... I was painstakingly avoiding anything nvidia after some very subpar experiences gf2 even with nvidia's binary blob. ;-)

same. my first was an et4000, an ati mach64, a g200, the gf2 pro from then on mainly intel, amd or both in combo.

I avoided buying hw having nvidia
