Admins, small hint regarding blocking spam accounts: If you find spam posts yourself (before they have been reported to you), make sure you use the "report" feature.
Yes, I know, there's a shortcut and you can immediately suspend an account without a report.
BUT: If you do so, the remote instance won't be notified of the incident.
It is important to let the remote instances (the hosters of the spam account) know about their problem. Therefore use "report" even if you're admin :)
@kikeriffs Generally speaking, we accept metalhead.club members who align with our rules and values and are active (almost) every day.
Currently I think we are enough moderation team members to fight the wave (and other moderation cases). But really - thank you very much for asking and for your willingness to collaborate 🤘 That's very kind of you!
