There's mis-info on fedi about the furry who got fired from NASA for saying "suck my dick and balls i'm working at NASA" to Homer Hickam, who's at the National Space Council that oversees NASA.
While yes, she was fired, Hickam had stated that the had tried to get her a job afterwards, and it seems like NASA found the post independently of Hickam from searching on Twitter. Given that I've seen mis-info on fedi at times other than this, I'm more inclined to believe Hickam here. Snopes has an archive of the post, including a link from the Wayback Machine.
Not to mention, I'm very sure she recently got a new job and celebrated it referencing this incident. I remember a screenshot going round going along the lines of "this time I won't tell my higher-ups to suck my dick and balls. That's a mistake you only make once."
It seems like she takes it in jest nowadays. Fedi is just reigniting bad blood for no reason.
