Some initial base design improvements I learned from the experiment. Next I'll try to design a drgn emoji on a way smaller canvas, but also reduced outline thickness, which should theoretically yield an emoji that works better at small sizes
This experiment only made it clear that it's impossible to make a super legible emoji for my character. Not happening. The dragon has to be more simple and less realistic for that to work, like :dragnmlem:
@volpeon I love your emote art style, though I have to say... I personally like the ones with the border more. (But it may be that it's just because the others look unfamiliar.)
A good thing with the border: They work with any background, because there is a contrast added. (Also they fit with neofox and neocat ^^')
@SteffoSpieler Yes, that's why I adopted the border style. The problem is that it leaves less room for the face, and the drgn emojis are just barely legible.
