Just finished a playthrough of xkcd's recent "Escape Velocity" and I enjoyed it very much! That foreshadowing at the hollow planet, though, I have to admit I didn't catch at first. ;)

That was a fun way to spend the time I should have been working on school with. :P

Yeah, I'm not getting it. The controls are confusing

@RL_Dane
It's a little easier for me I guess since I already went through the previous "Gravity", which has the same controls.

@RL_Dane
It's basically "Gravity" except for messing around and finding cool stuff, you're inside an actual storyline.

@RL_Dane
Well it's more of an Escape Room than a story, I guess.

No, the controls are completely broken in Firefox, and that is deeply disappointing. :E

Works fine in Falkon (QTWeb/Blink)

@RL_Dane
Oh, really??

It's working for me (just tested), what's wrong with them for you?

The vessel just sinks into the ground. Even in a private window.

Maaaaybe it's my Canvas blocker. Hold on ;)

@RL_Dane
Ha that could be it. I just tried it on fresh out-of-the-box Firefox.

@benjaminhollon

Confirmed. The "Resist Fingerprinting" toggle breaks it. That's the one thing that still runs in a private window. I forgot ;)

(It "runs" in a private window, because it's a global about:config variable

@RL_Dane
Ahh okay. Yeah that's gonna be canvas then.

There doesn't happen to be any way to whitelist a specific site does there?

RL_Dane,
@RL_Dane@fosstodon.org avatar

@benjaminhollon

No, the extension just flips the about:config flag for you. That's it.

I have to turn it off for things like the imgflip meme maker and some QR code generators. And now, it seems some web games (which I hadn't really played much of).
