  1. Here's some video from my last session. The video capture mode has a fisheye effect. The screens from my actual perspective in the vr headset seem much larger.

@mike Obvious as it may seem, I never thought of using VR gear for work. This really does look like a game changer, especially when working with many windows. (And I see immersed has a linux version!)

@MarvinFreeman The thread got broken up, so click on the hashtag for the full thread. I posted video. Immersed is coming out with their own hardware, which if it lives up to the hype will be a real game changer. 4k per eye under a thousand dollars.

  1. I should also mention, in the real world I'm simply at my dining room table. No need for a big work space at home.

@mike the moving around bit is especially brilliant; arrange a couple sets of monitors as distinct workspaces
