The overabundance of sensors in modern cars means that even a minor collision that dents your bumper would require you to replace the sensors that were there because your car is dead without them.
This is why I drive defensively. My car is from 2004. If you dent it, I can just buff it out. If you dent your pristine luxury cage, you’re out a few thousand pounds.
