Honestly, I would probably manage to have an acccount there to re-connect with my friends after not using Instagram. Ofc I won't post any photos of myself but images that I take with my camera.
Afterall, this can work if only they manage to use TikTok photos in the future.
Why don't I just convince them to use Pixelfed? It is not that I dislike Pixelfed and it is the opposite instead. Unfortunately, most of my old friends are like most of the people, only get interested in mainstream platforms.
I am still dreaming to host my own Pixelfed instance, but it is still extremely far away to be realized.
