@virtualbri In fairness, Judge Shopping is a Tried and True Legal Practice (lots of people try to get their patent cases before This One Judge in Texas, for example). That said, it's not really a Net Good, so I'm glad they're cracking down on it.

@virtualbri I 99% agree, but also have seen the result of judges unfamiliar with patent law or the associated science and it leads to headaches when trying to draft the things. :) (I could rant a lot about SCOTUS but I'll spare you. :) )

@tptigger Yeah, but are people shopping for judges to get "better" judges? I'm not familiar with that; I only hear it being used to patent troll with specific judges, which feels almost corrupt.
