Man, the way folks on #fedi can be so casually cruel and hateful towards people they think represent evil things is pretty jarring, and saddening.
Like, I am absolutely not a fan of capitalism, and the words "side hustle" send me scurrying towards the nearest airsickness bag, but I see folks just lashing out and lambasting folks that are even a little bit out of line, ideologically.

You're awesome in so many ways, but I really wish you'd not do that.
@RL_Dane This is just a human thing, it seems. We are all guilty of hatred. And the only thing that pisses me off more than someone being rude or mean, or screwing up, is someone claiming they or they're people never do.
I think it's easy to get so locked into your own "head space" (not a term I particularly like, but it fits), that we forget the fact that we're living in a huge world with many different ways of seeing it, and someone who doesn't agree with you isn't necessarily wrong.
I noticed this when I was watching a tv show, and a character on the show giving a presentation spoke about how they had built a large and successful silicon valley company.
