I did two AirBnB's with my ex.
Both in one summer.
The first one was fine til we got back from dinner, at that point the AC had been off for a while and it was uncomfortably warm.Hosts obvs gone to bed, and didn't pester them, in retrospect we should have.
Second time, we asked specifically about air conditioning first, and the host confirmed that there was, with no reservation. Upon our return from a nice concert, it was fukin hot in the room. Protested to the hosts, they said the AC was on, but it was totally ineffective. Opened the windows to try to make it bearable, and it was almost OK, then a skunk went off. Closed the windows and suffered.
Third time was just me.
Quality was WAY oversold, promised coffemaker and key were never provided, back yard was very much not as described, totally unusable.
I'll not do one again unless I get a stellar personal reference on one that that person has stayed at.
