I’ve been playing a good bit of Pillars of Eternity but I’m struggling to feel class immersion. I haven’t felt fully “grabbed” yet but I’m not sure why. It’s definitely dialogue heavy, and when there’s battles it feels like it’s over way too fast, skills don’t really seem to matter or have much weight. Does it get better as you play maybe?
@soragrey in later fights you're pretty constantly pausing to give orders, so skills do matter. You can buy Mercs pretty cheap at the first town and fill out your party before you get actual characters, that might help if you haven't already.
