When I first started work I was typing (on an old, manual typewriter) documents to release shipments.
The documents needed 3 further copies and we used a sheet of carbon paper between each A4 sheet. Any mistakes made could only be corrected - using a Tippex brush - on the first, original sheet (for the customer).
@grb090423 I just found a box of used carbon paper in my closet of curiosities. I’m going back and forth between “throw it away without looking” and “what if there are 70yo corporate secrets in here?”
