I investigated Stonetoss from the chatroom angle because picking apart bigoted comics has diminishing returns. He wants people to cite his comics as evidence. Not just for clout. It forced discourse to opine about authorial intent. But now the chats shatter his plausible deniability. I don’t care to debate intent because it’s irrelevant. The impact is increased prevalence of Nazi propaganda. Stonetoss a slur hurling Nazi hiding behind artwork as a facade. Acting like the explicit messages in his work are ambiguous. As an artist myself, I can’t let that slide.
