Kiddo wanted to finally try sushi for dinner with just the two of us.
But without said teen being tested for shellfish allergies yet (my wife is anaphylaxis for shellfish), regular sushi wouldn’t fly.
So I stepped up and offered to drive us almost an hour across town to a verifiably kosher sushi place. No shellfish allowed in or around the food.
Happy kiddo (the California roll was a hit) and zero risk of cross-contamination of shellfish enzymes with anything in the house.
