Can anyone recommend a Thunderbolt Gigabit Ethernet adapter for a MacBook Pro? Ideally one that also works in Linux.

chx,

@st3fan Usually gigabit adapters are not made using Thunderbolt because of the cost. Even many TB docks contain Ethernet-over-USB chips. You can find a list of TB docks with PCIe Ethernet controllers at https://egpu.io/forums/gpu-monitor-peripherals/pcie-ethernet-in-thunderbolt-docks/

If you need a single adapter, try the Apple A1433 TB2 - GbE about $10 on eBay with the MMEL2AM converter to TB3.
