I am envious of people who can function with eg: 6 hours of sleep, because for me anything less than 8 hours and my day is a mess.

@ocornut a touch more than 6 hours of sleep on a work night is a good night for me. I wouldn't envy it though, insomnia blows. I've learned to live with it, but I can't help but think the folks who get to have a full night's sleep regularly get to enjoy better health and other such things.

@aeva @ocornut same. 6-7 hours here, and then I just wake up and can't go back to sleep. I would do a 30 minute nap after lunch every day if I could (like my dad has always done), but life gets in the way and I can almost never do it 🙄

@ocornut not unlike here. i can be productive on such a day, but clouded in what i can only describe as physical sensations of a lingering malaise

but 6 hours of sleep is the absolute limit. anything less and i just do whatever.

@ocornut I have the opposite problem. Oversleep for me near consistently will end up with all-day massive migraines and I'll be basically useless. People always love to talk up sleeping-in, but to me the idea is a nightmare, haha
