danielholt, 2 months ago Not that I'm counting the days or anything but in exactly one year my 2 year old will be eligible for the 30 funded hours of childcare. Like his big sister I'm hoping to send him to the local primary schools attached Nursery. She loved it. Hopefully he will too. Fingers crossed. 365 days. I can almost see the freedom. #Parent

EighthLayer, 2 months ago @danielholt Similarly, I feel like I’m counting down the days until my son goes to school in September. Omg the savings we’ll make not having to pay for extortionate nursery fees every month!!

danielholt, 2 months ago @EighthLayer We've not spent a penny on childcare yet, because we just can't afford it. It does mean however that 7/7 days one of us is working all day so we never get to share the load or even spend time together as a family. When he's at nursery 4/5 days we'll be able to work at the same time, and thus actually get weekends together. Finally.
