ET is for hipsters who want iTerm breakout with native-UI scrollback where their worst connectivity issue is not lifting a finger to reconnect after traveling from one coffee shop to another.
Mosh is for people who've had to work on VSAT and slow/shitty wireless connections.
@jade I wasn’t exactly mosh’s greatest fan for quite a while, and all else being equal I might still choose ET personally, but I bet no one involved has ever worked over what would be considered a slow or high-latency link. Hell even mobile hotspots show marked improvement with mosh in congested areas.
