@isaiah we have a Samsung fridge. So far it's been great and no issues. Plus the cats love it. 😊

@isaiah We got one of these about 2yrs ago, like it, and have yet to have any issues. Hardly use the craft ice, but it’s a fun novelty…the flexible drawer has come in handy a few times, though it’s mostly used as a very cold drink drawer. https://www.lg.com/us/refrigerators/lg-lrmxs3006s-french-4-door-refrigerator

that’s exactly what we have now. it’s been pretty great — but the ice maker always had problems.

@isaiah We have a counter top nugget ice maker, so the ice maker doesn’t get much use.

@agiletortoise i’m not an ice fanatic (tho my in-laws are) but it gets solid use.

the circuit board has a bad solder point on some sensor so it would spontaneously open the ice chute door sometimes leading to melting and one giant ice cube in the bin. i resoldered it a few times but something about the housing puts pressure on it and breaks over and over.
