@sergio_101 @mrcippy Threads has partial (one-way) federation enabled (opt-in).

This means that some accounts on threads can be followed/viewed from ActivityPub servers (including Mastodon) if the user has ticked the option to enable it.

Threads does not currently allow the reverse to occur, you cannot follow/interact with ActivityPub (Mastodon etc) accounts from Threads.

Also some server admins (like me) have pre-emptively blocked threads.net from federating with our servers due to their failure to meet our moderation criteria and Meta's history of technological and humanitarian tragedies.
