@gangrif @ElleGray @dntlookbehindu More or less. Depending on where it is in its orbit, sometimes it’s a little bigger, and some times when it’s farther out it doesn’t cover the sun completely. Then you get an annular eclipse.

But yeah, it’s pretty amazing and coincidental. And the Earth-Moon mass ratio is 1/6, which is the biggest in the solar system by far.
