@tsyum I left Spotify over their support for that Rogan fellow. I have a huge playlist in Apple Music (been working on it for years) that’s entirely things I like and stuff I’ve put on book soundtracks, which does me just fine most mornings. I try to goose the algorithm frequently by listening to and adding stuff friends like, or music from FMVs.
A trouble I’ve had with Apple Music is if one ever drops their subscription, all the favorites vanish - all that work goes down the drain.
I can’t speak to what happens if the subscription starts up again (if that data is stored somewhere) but I recall asking support about it, and the answer is No 👎
@tsyum That’s basically a thing with any music streaming nowadays—one is entirely at the mercy of the corporation. I have my DVD collection and backups, but otherwise I just run the risk. It’s a different decision for everyone.
