A trouble I’ve had with Apple Music is if one ever drops their subscription, all the favorites vanish - all that work goes down the drain.

I can’t speak to what happens if the subscription starts up again (if that data is stored somewhere) but I recall asking support about it, and the answer is No 👎

It has begun… again.

It is 6:17 AM and there is already a stream of traffic heading north. I am just thankful that we didn’t do anything stupid yesterday and that the dog is not stressing out like he has in the past.

Mom's recent blood tests weren't enough for liver specialist doctor to diagnose today. Her last ultrasound, combined with recent blood test results indicated some liver damage & autoimmune issues. Specialist has sent requisitions for another ultrasound & for a day biopsy at Jubilee to try to figure out cause of Mom's liver issues. She's never smoked & has maybe drank a total of 10 alcoholic drinks maximum, her entire life. Once liver issues are diagnosed, we can look at treatment options.

@josh I’d like to get a monitor or two. Hope you don’t mind that I share a few things here. One issue I have is that many monitors seem to be “smart” devices and I wonder if they work when wi-fi is down. And are VOC readings more reliable now? Everybody and their mom has a “best air quality monitors” article on their website, but they seem to have stopped mentioning the unreliability of VOC readings, and none are looking at PurpleAir?

Of course I’m happy to pay a bit, since great tools are a lot of work to build and maintain, so, no need to be “free”.

Features I’m wanting:

  • recurring tasks
  • ability to have multiple calendars that can be toggled on/off
  • due dates that can be checked off
  • notes would be great as a distinct feature, visually different

friends, do you have a favorite wood or wood stain?

I wonder what is most versatile design-wise. For some reason lighter woods like birch and pine can feel as if they belong in a kids room, but not always..?

Would love to hear your thoughts. I’m planning to reupholster this Varier variable Balans chair and figure I might as well consider a different stain while I’m at it. Lol the background…
